As a committed partner at the Phoenix, Arizona, law firm of Stillman Smith Gadow, attorney Jennifer G. Gadow devotes the entirety of her practice to family law. Over her career spanning 25-plus years, she has maintained personal, long-term connections with her clients and strategized ways to protect their best interests.
Ms. Gadow brings extensive experience to her clients in a wide range of family law matters such as contested and uncontested divorce, child custody and support, legal separation, marital dissolution, emergency orders of protection, paternity, grandparents’ rights, complex property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, spousal maintenance and post-decree modifications.
Board-certified as a specialist in family law by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization, Ms. Gadow is well-versed in determining what cases qualify for mediation and when they must be taken to court. Experienced in mediation, she tries to resolve disputes by offering creative solutions but, when the parties are having difficulties coming to an agreement, she will not hesitate to take cases to trial.
A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Ms. Gadow obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English in 1991. She bagged her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1994 and became admitted to practice in Arizona the following year.
As an authentication to her high level of professional excellence and ethical standards, Mr. Gadow received an AV Preeminent rating* from Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest peer rating standard. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and a member of the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. Keen on performing duties for her community, Ms. Gadow worked as a volunteer settlement officer at the Superior Court of Arizona for almost 15 years and was recognized as the “Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem of the Year” for her exceptional work. In addition to serving the AAML in various capacities and being a part of the Arizona Family Law Executive Council, she frequently lectures to her peers in the legal profession on family law topics.
