During her career, she has worked with clients in the small business, bankruptcy and banking industries, and she has almost four decades of experience working with clients in all types of general civil and business litigation and bankruptcy. In bankruptcy court, she has managed student loan defenses, exceptions to discharge, creditor representation and preference litigation.
Admitted to practice in the state of Arizona, she is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. At the University of North Dakota, Ms. Farrington-Lorch earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science and journalism and a minor in music performance. After her undergraduate studies, Ms. Farrington-Lorch attended law school at The University of North Dakota School of Law.
Ms. Farrington-Lorch is an active volunteer, giving of her time and talents. She has served as a Mock Trial Attorney Coach with Xavier College Preparatory Team. And, when she has not been a Team Coach she has served as a volunteer Judge at the Arizona State High School Mock Trial Competition and as a Judge for the National Competition when it was held in Phoenix.
A passionate advocate for the arts, Ms. Farrington-Lorch serves on the Board of Directors as Vice President for the Phoenix Chorale having previously served the organization as its Secretary for several years. Ms. Farrington-Lorch has had other nonprofit board experience where she has served as a Director of the Board of Directors for Ballet Arizona for five years. She has also served on the Board of Trustees for the Phoenix Boys Choir, for approximately twelve years with about six years spent as Board Secretary. She has served on the Board of Directors for Theater Works in Peoria, Arizona as the Secretary and again as the Board Chair. Ms. Farrington-Lorch was also a board member of the Arizona Ballet School, prior to the School's merger with Ballet Arizona. Ms. Farrington-Lorch has also advised other nonprofits on matters involving ByLaws and Corporate Governance.
Ms. Farrington-Lorch was selected for membership in Marquis Who's Who. In November 29, 2023 she was a Marquis Who's Who member featured in the Wall Street Journal. Ms. Farrington-Lorch has a featured article in the 16th edition of Millennium, a Marquis Who's Who publication, which publication was been published in 2024. In 2022 Ms. Farrington-Lorch was selected as a CIO Bulletin Five Best Attorneys. She was also featured in 2022 in the Top 100 Attorneys Magazine.
