Details

Jared Leung is the managing attorney of JCL Immigration Attorneys, PLLC, in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he devotes his practice to all facets of U.S. immigration law. Drawing on more than two decades of experience, he represents both corporate and individual clients in business‐immigration matters – from preparing immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to guiding visa applications at overseas consulates and navigating PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor.

For his business clients, Mr. Leung designs and implements comprehensive strategies to secure work visas and permanent residency for key employees. He also advises on I‐9 compliance and E‐Verify protocols to ensure adherence to federal requirements and, when necessary, assists organizations facing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) audits by minimizing potential penalties and establishing long‐term, sustainable compliance systems.

From June 2006 to October 2008, Mr. Leung managed the U.S. consulate practice for the Asia‐Pacific region – an assignment based in Hong Kong for a leading international immigration law firm. In that role, he oversaw matters spanning India to Japan, liaised with the U.S. consular offices, U.S. Commercial Service and local chambers of commerce, and pioneered solutions to urgent cross‐border challenges. He collaborated closely with multinational corporations to orchestrate the efficient relocation of employees between the United States and Asia‐Pacific markets.

Before his tenure abroad, Mr. Leung was a key member of the immigration group at the nation’s largest labor and employment firm, where he partnered with high‐tech and corporate clients to streamline immigration processes for non‐U.S. national recruits. A frequent speaker and published author, he holds a J.D. from Brigham Young University (1996) and has earned an AV Preeminent* peer‐review rating through Martindale‐Hubbell. His most recent presentations include:

  • “Immigration Process for Architects” at the American Institute of Architects’ Design School, Arizona State University (April 29, 2025)
  • “How to Get Our Cases with Mission Seoul across the Finish Line” at the AILA APAC Chapter Conference, Seoul, South Korea (April 17, 2025)
  • “Immigration Updates” for the Thai-American Association of Arizona, Phoenix (March 29, 2025)
