Steven C. Dawson is a founding partner of Dawson & Rosenthal, P.C., located in Sedona, Arizona. Focusing his practice primarily on bad faith insurance litigation, he represents policy holders throughout the state as well as in California who have been wrongfully denied their rightful benefits under their health care, homeowners, disability, automobile or commercial liability coverage. In addition, Mr. Dawson handles personal injury and wrongful death litigation for people who have been seriously harmed by the negligence of other parties in motor vehicle accidents and other incidents.
As an undergraduate, Mr. Dawson attended Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in 1978. Staying in Tempe, he went on to attend what was then known as the Arizona State University College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1981. After graduation, Mr. Dawson spent several years with a Phoenix firm that handled bad faith litigation, eventually ending up as a partner, before leaving to co-found his current firm in 1995. Admitted to practice in Arizona, Mr. Dawson is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
