Ana M. Perez-Arrieta

Focusing her practice primarily on estate planning, Ana M. Perez-Arrieta is an attorney at Bogutz and Gordon, and she has been certified as a specialist in estate and trust law by the State Bar of Arizona's Board of Legal Specialization. Working out of the firm's office in Tucson, Arizona, she represents clients throughout the greater metropolitan area. Admitted to practice in Arizona, Ms. Perez-Arrieta is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.

Ms. Perez-Arrieta's estate planning experience is centered on her preparation and review of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. She also helps to ensure that these documents as well as retirement account and life insurance policy beneficiary designations are up to date and reflect the current financial and family situations of her clients. She additionally guides people who have recently lost a loved one through what can be a confusing probate process, and her experience extends to guardianships, conservatorships, and the administration of trusts. Ms. Perez-Arrieta has received widespread recognition from her colleagues for the quality of her work and high degree of ethics. Some of her honors include an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In addition, in 2010, she was named to the Arizona Daily Star's annual list of "40 Under 40".

Ms. Perez-Arrieta is a member of several professional groups, including the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council, and the Pima County Bar Association. She is a 2000 cum laude graduate of the University of Virginia and a graduate of the Notre Dame Law School, where she served on the Journal of College and University Law before receiving her Juris Doctor in 2005.
