Craig H. Wisnom

Focusing his practice on estate planning and administration as well as elder law, Craig H. Wisnom is an attorney at Bogutz and Gordon. Based in Tucson, he provides representation to clients throughout southern Arizona and other parts of the state. Mr. Wisnom has been admitted to practice in Arizona since 1995, and he has been certified as a specialist in estate and trust law by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization and as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.

In his estate planning practice, Mr. Wisnom regularly prepares and reviews wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, financial and health care powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. He tailors each plan to meet each client's particular needs and goals. Mr. Wisnom also guides family members through the probate and estate administration process after a loved one has passed away, and he has assisted executors and other fiduciaries as well. His work has also involved the preparation of required federal and state estate tax returns, and he has handled guardianships and conservatorships. Mr. Wisnom's elder law practice has included Medicaid and long-term care planning as well as veterans benefits and Supplemental Security Income claims and appeals. A Tucson native, Mr. Wisnom attended The University of Arizona and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. He then remained on campus to pursue his legal education at what was then known as the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1995. Mr. Wisnom is a fellow in The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of other professional groups.
