Educated at The University of Arizona, Mr. Leonard received his Bachelor of Arts degree with magna cum laude honors in 1962, followed by his Juris Doctor, also with magna cum laude honors, in 1964. He is admitted to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Arizona and California, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Recognized for his legal acumen, he holds an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and has been consistently listed in Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1982. 

Originally from New York City, Mr. Leonard moved to Tucson in 1958 to attend university. For over four decades, he has been involved in litigation consultancy and has offered his insights on legal malpractice, attorney fees and real estate disputes.

Beyond his practice, Mr. Leonard has contributed to legal education by teaching real estate finance at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He has served on several influential committees, including the Local Rules for Federal District Courts as chairman, the State Bar Civil Rules Committee and the Pima County Rules Committee. Additionally, he has held the position of vice-chairman of the Antitrust Council.
