Joshua Q. Mostyn

Joshua Q. Mostyn is a founding member and attorney at Mostyn Prettyman, PLLC. He extends his practice across the cities of Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista and Gravette in Arkansas and focuses on a broad variety of legal matters, including:

Licensed in Arkansas and Texas, Mr. Mostyn is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. He has obtained the Arkansas Real Estate Commission’s Principal Broker License and the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission’s Mediator certification.

Graduating cum laude, Mr. Mostyn received his doctorate in jurisprudence in 2012 from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville. While there, he was the recipient of the T.C. and Rosemary Carlson Memorial Award and the W.B. Putman American Inn of Court Pupil Award. He is a 2003 graduate with a B.A. in business administration from the University of North Texas.

During his initial years, Mr. Mostyn worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Brad Karren in the Rogers District Court and an extern to a political leader in Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District. Working with various organizations in different capacities, he gained a broad-spectrum perspective of large-scale businesses and their transactions. He managed several businesses and investments which gave him a practical understanding of administrating a business. He uses these skills and insights to assist clients who seek his legal guidance.

Mr. Mostyn serves as the president of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies. He is the former president and the current vice president of the Benton County Bar Association. Moreover, he was appointed to the Arkansas Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. He is a valued member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Washington County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Owing to his quality of client service, Mr. Mostyn is rated 8.9/10 on Avvo. He was also included in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s list of Forty Under 40 Class. He extends his services beyond his profession by taking on various pro bono activities with a commitment to serve his community.
