As an attorney with Dodds, Kidd, Ryan & Rowan, David W. Parker is a criminal, DWI, and tax lawyer who represents clients in Little Rock, and throughout central Arkansas. A former prosecutor and Little Rock native, he prosecuted more than 30,000 criminal cases during the first part of his career. After leaving the White County District Court Civil Division where he worked as a Special Judge, he worked for Revenue Legal Counsel in the Department of Finance and Administration.
The first part of his career prepared him to represent clients in criminal cases and gave him extensive experience in DWI driver license appeals cases. Part of his job was to draft legislation and lobby legislators to improve the state’s criminal statues, DWI laws and licensing rules. Mr. Parker also managed business closures, tax protests and additional civil lawsuits.
Admitted to practice in the state of Arkansas, Mr. Parker graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics before moving on to law school. At the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, he earned his Juris Doctor.
Mr. Parker is one of the founding members of the Little Rock Touchdown Club, which now has close to 1,000 members. The organization’s goal is to improve community cohesion by bringing football fans together to support teams at all levels. Whether he is negotiating a divorce settlement or fighting for the rights of someone accused of a crime, he is committed to finding the best results for every client and all those involved in his community.
