Before that, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the same institution in 1982. She holds licenses to practice law in several states, including Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Additionally, she is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

With 16 years of experience, she served as a deputy prosecutor in both Sebastian and Pulaski counties. For 13 years, she played a crucial role at the Pulaski County Prosecutor's Office, ultimately rising as chief deputy prosecutor from 1996 to 2001. During her tenure, she successfully prosecuted many significant felony cases, including capital cases.
In 2001, Ms. Piazza transitioned to private practice, joining an esteemed personal injury law firm in Tampa, Florida. There, she was the lead litigator in many complex cases involving nursing homes, trucking accidents and more. Her exceptional legal acumen and strategic approach contributed significantly to the firm's success. In 2013, she co-founded the Trammell Piazza Law Firm, LLP, alongside Chad Trammell.
