As managing member of the Paul Byrd Law Firm, PLLC, Paul Byrd brings 30 years of litigation experience to his clients in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Byrd's reputation for the aggressive defense of injured people and their families resulted in his being featured on a Dateline NBC documentary, as well as the front page of The Wall Street Journal, for his case against Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.
Mr. Byrd graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1985 and set up private practice in 1988, after gaining experience serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Tom F. Digby. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Arkansas, and has also litigated vehicle safety cases in Arizona, California, Florida, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
His professionalism and compassion for the rights of injured people have given Mr. Byrd the opportunity to serve in leadership positions for various associations, including president of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Currently, he is a member of the American Association for Justice's board of governors, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum of The Top Trial Lawyers In America. - Successfully resolved a federal case regarding an industrial accident in a distribution center. Our client was very badly injured and disabled for life. He will be taken care of for the rest of his life., 2022
- Successfully concluded a multimillion dollar case where a client was injured from an exploding split rim on a Road Grader. It was a complicated case against a manufacturer of the road grader and the manufacturer of the tire and rim on the road grader. Our client was severely injured from amputation and a head injury. It is desired that split rims will be removed from road graders in the future., 2020
- Successfully litigated an elevator failure against an elevator service company where our client had an elevator in their home. The elevator door improperly opened and our client fell from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. She suffered severe injuries. , 2019
