Doug is a 1987 graduate of University of Arkansas Law School who began his career as a deputy prosecutor. As a criminal defense attorney, Doug has used his experience and insights on prosecutorial strategies to successfully defend more than 25,000 cases, including over 8,000 DWI / DUI cases, against all types of felony and misdemeanor criminal charges, including DWI / DUI, assault, battery, theft, drug possession, drug distribution, burglary, robbery and rape. He has also represented countless clients in driver’s license suspension and traffic charges. He practices in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) in over twenty courts including Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Washington County and Benton County, Lowell, Madison County, Carroll County, Prairie Grove, Elkins, Gentry, Gravett, Siloam Springs, Centerton and many others. Doug Norwood has had many thousands of charges, including DWI / DUI charges, either receive a not guilty or be dismissed.
