Majoring in biology, Ms. Kolko attended San Jose State University as an undergraduate, and she received a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. She then pursued her legal education at Santa Clara University School of Law, and she was the business editor of the Santa Clara Law Review and represented the school in the National Moot Court Competition that is held annually in New York City. Ms. Kolko also spent a summer abroad studying intellectual property before being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2006. She is frequently asked to deliver presentations on topics related to her practice area, and her memberships include the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
