Tiffany is a Certified Family Law and Child Welfare Law Specialist who has been practicing in the area of dependency law since 2006 and in the area of family law since 2008. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice from the California State University of Sacramento in 2001. She passed the bar on the first attempt and was immediately sworn in to the State Courts of California and to the federal court of the United States District Court, Eastern District of California. In the summer of 2014 she was also sworn into the United States Supreme Court, our nation’s highest court.  Tiffany has received many awards throughout her career as an attorney with the most recent award being the 2020 Business Woman of the Year in the Folsom Telegraph for the City of Folsom. White Papers

  • Authored a Bill that Became Legislation in July 2018 (2018) - AB 2792 I authored to amend Family Code section 7823 to carve out a definition, in part, to what consistutes cruelty and neglect for grounds for termination of parental rights.  The statute signed into law July 9, 2018 now indicates that a finding of severe sexual abuse shall be prima facie evidence of cruelty and neglect to permit a termination of parental rights.

  • Authored two affirmative legislation pieces relating to closing the gap between how abused children are treated differently between the family law and child welfare law systems. Both slated to be turned into Assembly Bills in 2018.

  • This was a training for attorneys, social workers, mental health and the general public to learn about cross over issues that arise in dependency law and family law cases.
