    After graduating with honors from Florida State University, Mr. Costa earned his law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1983. He is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

    In addition to his law practice, Mr. Costa is a member of various professional organizations, including the State Bar of California, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, the American Board of Trial Advocates(ABOTA) and the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court. He also has been a member of the Rotary Club of Sacramento since 1994, where he served on the board of directors from 2004 to 2006, and the Piemonte Reale Benevolent Society since 1986, an Italian-American community organization.
