Trained in mediation and collaborative law, Ms. Bissada strives to help her clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements without the need for expensive, protracted courtroom battles; however, she will not hesitate to fight on behalf of those she serves in court when necessary.

Devoted to helping those less fortunate, Ms. Bissada has volunteered her time and services with the Legal Aid Society and the Domestic Violence Collaborative Pro Bono Project. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she received the Dorothy M. Wolfe Award in 2010, and she served as a member of the Legal Aid Society Board of Directors.

Highly active in her legal community, Ms. Bissada is a member of several local, state and national bar associations. She once served as president and board member of the San Mateo County Bar Association, where she also sat on a number of the organization's committees.  Michèle currently serves on the membership committee for Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County and on the Advisory Council of Overcoming Barriers non-profit.

A 1989 graduate of the University of California, Davis, Ms. Bissada obtained her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1994.
