    David Marks is a partner at GCA Law Partners LLP. A tenacious litigator, he is also trained in arbitration and mediation, and he often pursues some of these cases through one of those alternative dispute resolution methods. Mr. Marks has also been approved as a mediator for the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS.

    Mr. Marks received a Bachelor of Arts with departmental honors from Stanford University in 1984. Remaining in the Bay Area, he went on to pursue his legal education at the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1988.  Mr. Marks was a partner at Miller, Starr & Regalia before joining GCA Law Partners LLP in August 2011. Admitted to practice before all California state courts, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

    Mr. Marks has had several articles appear in a variety of publications. Some of the topics that he has written on have included construction defect litigation, mechanic's liens, real estate disclosure, and real estate fraud.
