Attorney Profile

With over 20 years of experience as a corporate defense and insurance attorney, Marjorie Heinrich is the principal and founder of Heinrich Law, PC. Representing those in Oakland, California, who require representation for matters of personal injury, employment litigation and elder law, she simplifies the most complex cases with her background knowledge from her previous work.

She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1983 before going on to earn a Juris Doctor at Golden Gate University School of Law in 1986. In 2007, Ms. Heinrich was named as the Defense Attorney of the Year by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and clients benefit from her ability to settle cases before a lawsuit is necessary. Her focus areas extend into wrongful death, dog bites, brain injuries, sporting accidents, underinsured and uninsured motorists’ claims and harassment.

Admitted to The California State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit since 1986, Ms. Heinrich has spent three decades expanding her knowledge and experience representing both corporations and individuals.  A graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, she currently serves as the Alameda-Contra Costa Trial Lawyers’ Association’s president.

Ms. Heinrich is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California. An engaging speaker and presenter, she has lectured and received honors from the Alameda County Bar Association and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. When she is not advocating for her clients, she enjoys traveling, jazz music and attending San Francisco Giants baseball games.
