In 1975, Mr. Hickman graduated with an Applied Baccalaureate degree from Stanford University. He then earned a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara Law in 1983 before receiving a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from San Jose State University in 1985. In 2014, Mr. Hickman earned a Master of Arts in entrepreneurship and innovation from Cogswell College.

Having deep technical experience gives Mr. Hickman the insight necessary to handle even the most complex intellectual property cases. Over the course of his career, he has represented a variety of clients through issues such as patent enforcements and infringements. He relies on a thorough examination of every case and close collaboration with his clients in order to secure the best possible outcome.
