Daniel E. Wilcoxen is the founding member of Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP, of which he is also the managing and senior partner. Mr. Wilcoxen represents clients in Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, Placer and San Joaquin counties in addition to other counties throughout California. His practice is focused mainly on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, specifically catastrophic injuries arising from automobile and trucking accidents, slip and fall accidents, medical malpractice and elder abuse. He also represents clients in cases of attorney malpractice, defective products and premises liability.
Mr. Wilcoxen began his higher education by attending California State University, Sacramento and San Diego State University. He then went on to attend the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating cum laude in 1972. He was admitted to The State Bar of California later that year.
Mr. Wilcoxen is a medical malpractice specialist certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. He is a faculty member at the University of San Francisco Law School, past president of the McGeorge School of Law Alumni Association, board member and past president of the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of Consumer Attorneys of California. Mr. Wilcoxen is also a member of the American Association for Justice, a past chapter president, board member and advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and an instructor for the University of California Continuing Education of the Bar. In addition, Mr. Wilcoxen is asked to speak at various seminars and meetings of California bar associations, specifically on the issue of lien collections. He is a known expert in the field and is regularly requested to consult on the issue.
