  • In a jury trial for the case of Slothower v. InAlliance, obtained a $1.2 million verdict in the Sacramento County Superior Court for the parents of Ryan Slothower, arising out of his wrongful death. Ryan Slothower, a 27 year old, developmentally delayed young man, had his femur shattered by his caregiver (defendant's employee).  Thereafter, Ryan underwent surgery to repair the fracture and upon extubation, he aspirated stomach contents into his lungs, developed ARDS, and died., 2010
