She later re-enrolled at that institution and received a Master of Laws in taxation in 2004. She is the Family Law Editor of the Continuing Education of the Bar Real Property Journal. She is admitted to practice in both California and the District of Columbia. In addition to English, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian speaks several other languages French, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish and Armenian.

As a member of both the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian owns and operates her own real estate business. She is a member of the Real Property, Trusts and Estates Section of the American Bar Association and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California. As an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, Ms. Tour-Sarkissian teaches courses on various legal and financial matters in the real estate sector.
