Attorney Jill Hersh is the founder of Hersh FamilyLaw Practice, P.C., in San Francisco, California. Ms. Hersh devotes her practice exclusively to family law, particularly cases involving high-asset divorce. She serves a wide client base throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and the North Bay area in towns including Napa, Santa Rosa and Sonoma.

Ms. Hersh has been a licensed attorney since 1978 and has earned a reputation as a seasoned negotiator and litigator who provides personalized service to each client. She has experience with cooperative divorce resolution, mediation and private adjudication. Over the course of her career, she has tried cases at the California superior, appellate and Supreme Court levels.

Recognized for her contributions to the legal profession, Ms. Hersh is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers. She is the recipient of the Clara Foltz Feminist Association Distinguished Career Recognition Award and California Lawyer’s Attorney of the Year award.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Hersh provides pro bono services in the Marin County and San Francisco superior courts. She has published numerous articles and has spoken at many conferences and seminars during her time in practice and is a member of professional organizations, including The Bar Association of San Francisco, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, The Lawyers’ Club of San Francisco Inn of Court and the American Bar Association.

Ms. Hersh received a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. She is a certified family law specialist by The State Bar of California.
