That same year, The State Bar of California admitted him to practice, and he is also admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in the state, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He also holds pro hac vice admission to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Washington, the District of Alaska, the District of Arizona, the District of Utah and the District of Hawaii.
Active in his legal community and fully committed to his practice, Mr. Cox is a member of the American Bar Association, The Bar Association of San Francisco and the Marin County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States. In addition, he routinely conducts lectures before various legal groups across the country on matters related to maritime law.
