Mr. Rossi has long known he wanted to be involved in the real estate industry. After earning an undergraduate degree from San Jose State University in 1965, he attended the University of California Hastings College of Law. While in law school, he actually managed a number of apartment complexes and sold real estate. He received a Juris Doctor in 1968 and spent several years as a captain in the U.S. Army, where he defended clients in court martial. In 2009, Mr. Rossi went back to school, earning a Master of Arts in history from San Jose State University.
