Alexcis N. Wichtowski

Partnering with Whiting, Ross, Abel & Campbell, LLP, Alexcis N. Wichtowski concentrates her practice primarily on family law. Believing in the need to make the law accessible to all, she makes sure to take on cases from all spectrums of society and make them aware of their rights. She is board-certified as a family law specialist by The State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization and is dedicated to solving legal matters across the state, including:

·       Spousal and child support

·       Child custody and visitation disputes

·       Paternity disputes

·       Pre- and post-marital agreements

With more than a decade of experience with family law, Ms. Wichtowski has experience standing for her clients both in and out of court. Hailing from Sonoma County, she has a deep understanding of the problems and demographic behavior prevailing in the community. This knowledge coupled with the inherent compassion she has toward those who seek her assistance helps her in finding solutions that have a greater chance of achieving a favorable outcome for her clients. 

Ms. Wichtowski is a 2003 Bachelor of Arts degree holder who is an alumna of Santa Clara University. In 2007, she obtained her Juris Doctor from the Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, she was an active participant in the activities of the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic and Family Advocacy Programs, working closely with their domestic violence and family law work, and earned a certificate in Family Law and Social Policy.

Rated “Superb” on Avvo, Ms. Wichtowski is adept at connecting with her clients on a personal level and explaining legal matters to them devoid of legalese. She extends her support to the local legal communities by taking the initiative to train new family law practitioners via Family Law Boot Camps conducted by the Alameda County Bar Association and by volunteering at the Contra Costa County and the Alameda County Superior Court’s family law courts. 

Furthermore, Ms. Wichtowski is a recipient of The State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services, in recognition of her services to the indigent residents of the state. She has memberships in various prominent legal associations including the Association of California Family Law Specialists, the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the Alameda County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the Sonoma County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association and The State Bar of California’s Family Law Section.
