She frequently teaches lawyers courses in medical malpractice, cybersecurity and big health data, trends in personal injury law and trial techniques. Ms. Mulligan previously served as a clinical instructor at the University of  California San Diego Medical School, where she taught physicians and medical students laws related to patient safety issues and medical ethics.

  • Award for Contributions to the Legal Profession, San Diego County Bar Association, 2006
  • Following a medical malpractice case where the defendant hospital made no offer, Ms. Mulligan and her law partner Brian Findley, obtained a $5.5 million dollar jury verdict. The day following the unanimous verdict, the jury visited the grave of the deceased patient, leaving a note of sympathy and respect for his spouse. Two separate awards were given for this jury verdict, naming Ms. Mulligan "Top Gun in Medical Malpractice" by the Orange County Bar Association and "Trial Star" by the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, 2018
