For more than 10 years, he has been known for his adaptation to and knowledge of emerging legal areas, such as cannabis and internet law. For California’s Proposition 64, he worked as one of the lead drafting attorneys in a successful attempt to regulate and decriminalize cannabis use for adults.

Admitted to practice in the state of California, Mr. Harrison is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and has passed the bar to practice in New York. During his decade long career, he has worked extensively in strategic matters of public service, complex policy law and governmental affairs.

Mr. Harrison graduated from the University of Miami in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Political Science and a minor in Economics. Graduating in three years, he was also on the Provost’s Honor Roll and the Dean’s List. He then attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he was a finalist for the school’s Stevens Innovators Showcase and featured for policy entrepreneurship in USC LAW magazine.

In 2010, Mr. Harrison was accepted to an accelerated public policy degree program at the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy and earned a Master of Public Policy. Founder of the Prometheus Institute, he is dedicated to educating all generations about the need for creative policy solutions designed with the help of the public.
