    Wayne R. Gross is the co-founder of Greenberg Gross LLP in Costa Mesa, California. In a practice focused primarily on business litigation, he represents companies and executives throughout California in matters involving the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission. He also defends clients who have been accused of unfair business practices or white collar crimes and provides assistance to business clients in internal investigations and corporate crisis management.

    Wayne has been repeatedly recognized for his outstanding trial work, including recently being selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America ® 2016 (Copyright 2015 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, SC).  His many trial victories include obtaining, along with his partner Alan Greenberg, a $50 million jury verdict in a partnership dispute regarding the world-famous Hollywood Palladium [Law360 - How They Won It].

    Previously, Wayne worked as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California where he prosecuted cases of national and international significance, including the UCI Fertility case, the Katarina Witt stalker case, and one of the first criminal trademark infringement cases brought to trial in Southern California. Prior to entering private practice, Wayne clerked for the late Judge Laughlin E. Waters of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

    Wayne has written several articles for Orange County Lawyer and has taught law school courses in criminal procedure, evidence, constitutional law and trial advocacy. He is a past president of the Orange County Bar Association and of the Orange County Bar Association's Charitable Fund. He also serves his community as a member of the board of directors of the Pacific Symphony and is a past member of the board of Goodwill of Orange County.
