Attorney William G. Benz is a partner with the Carico Johnson Toomey LLP law firm in El Segundo, California. Serving a wide range of commercial clients in the South Bay area and throughout Los Angeles County, Mr. Benz offers high-quality counsel and representation in the following practice areas:
Mr. Benz received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, School of Law in 2008. The State Bar of California admitted him to practice that same year, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California admitted him to practice in 2009. Additionally, Mr. Benz has served as amicus curiae before the Supreme Court of California and has served with the prosecutor's office for the city of Long Beach.
As a trial attorney, Mr. Benz has defended employers against numerous claims involving a variety of employment and labor law disputes, as well as civil litigation and class action cases. He also litigates on behalf of his clients in matters involving contract disputes, civil rights claims, construction defects and more.
Acting as outside counsel to both public and privately held companies, he advises his clients on matters related to employment policies and procedures, employment law compliance, employees' rights, and other workplace issues.
