A 1981 magna cum laude graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Mr. Krieger earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University in 1988. He then attended Harvard Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1991.

After working for several years at one of Los Angeles' most prominent law firms, Mr. Krieger joined the Offices of the U.S. Attorneys, where he served as assistant United States attorney and prosecuted cases involving federal immigration matters, public corruption and government fraud. He then re-entered private practice, where he devoted his time and resources primarily to family law and criminal defense.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Krieger has earned numerous awards and honors for his professionalism and service, including recognition from the National Association of Distinguished Counsel as being among The Nation's Top One Percent. Providing further evidence of his exceptional legal abilities, the Los Angeles County Superior Court appointed him as a judge pro tem.

Regarded as a leader in his field, he has published several articles and conducted numerous lectures and seminars across his region, and he serves as adjunct legal professor and instructor with both the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Harvard Law School.
