As founder of Asvar Law, P.C., Chris Asvar brings more than a decade of legal experience to a practice that focuses on catastrophic personal injury litigation and workers' compensation claims.  Representing clients in the Los Angeles and throughout the state of California, his focus is brain and spine injury litigation.  Mr. Asvar is certified as an (MCLE) instructor by the State Bar of California and was certified by the California Department of Insurance as an instructor in its Insurance Adjuster Certification program since 2008.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, Mr. Asvar went on to attend Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2003. While in law school, he received honors for his academic achievements and performance in both tort law and criminal law. Mr. Asvar is admitted to practice in California.

During the course of his career, Mr. Asvar has obtained multiple notable verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, including an $8.9 million workers' compensation award that in 2012 set the national record for highest known settlement or award.  That record remained unbroken until 2017, when Asvar Law achieved a new national record of $10 Million on behalf of a California injured worker.  Other outcome include successive multi-million-dollar awards or settlements focused on clients with brain, spine and other catastrophic injuries; be they in the civil or workers' compensation arena.

Frequently called on to give talks to professional groups on matters related to his practice area, Mr. Asvar has proudly served on various panels on topics related to brain injury.   He has also served as guest lecturer in several university courses related to law and public health.  In 2015, Mr. Asvar sccessfully argued beofre the California Court of Appeal in Schultz v. JT3, and the case resulted in a significant expansion of rights for the injured workers of California.
