Attorney Eric E. Castelblanco is the founder and owner of Castelblanco Law Group, APLC, which has offices in Studio City and Bakersfield, California. A top-rated, award-winning attorney with more than 28 years of legal experience, Mr. Castelblanco has established himself as an authority in housing law, as well as one of the state's preeminent advocates for tenants' rights.

Over the course of his career focusing primarily on housing and tenant issues for clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metro region, Mr. Castelblanco has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for tenants dealing with unlawful evictions, lease issues, and problems with the condition and safety of the homes, apartments and condos they are renting. Recognized for his impeccable professionalism and outstanding legal abilities, Mr. Castelblanco holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has earned other accolades from his peers. He has also received many positive testimonials and referrals from his satisfied clients.

A 1986 graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting, Mr. Castelblanco earned his license as a certified public accountant and worked as a CPA for a number of years before deciding to pursue his legal career. He then attended Harvard Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Born in Bogotá, Columbia, Mr. Castelblanco has called Los Angeles his own for most of his life, and he is fluent in Spanish. He is also an active member of The State Bar of California and the Los Angeles Bar Association, among his other professional affiliations. Additionally, he works closely with several nonprofits across his area to advocate for better living conditions for tenants.
