Together with his partner, attorney John H. Shaffery founded the law firm of Poole & Shaffery, LLP, in 1998 to provide high-quality legal services to both business and corporate clients. Mr. Shaffery is a 1991 graduate of Southwestern Law School, and he has dedicated his career to tenaciously advocating for positive outcomes for his clients. His extensive litigation experience serves to benefit his clients facing complex legal concerns, and he has tried appellate matters before the California Courts of Appeal.

A noted and highly respected part of the legal community, John H. Shaffery is an active member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. He is also a member of the Themis Advocates Group, which is an association of trial lawyers. He previously served as chairman of the board for the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce and helped to found the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation.
