While in law school, he served as a judge in the moot court competition. He is admitted to practice law in California; before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He is also a member of the Intertribal Court of Southern California.

    Mr. Saltsman's impressive track record has earned him numerous awards and recognitions, including the highest rating of AV Preeminent* with Martindale-Hubbell, with his peers recognizing him for outstanding legal and ethical practices. He is also known for his work with various media, including the popular show Legal Help Live. He is also the co-creator, co-host and producer of the Emmy Award-winning Cheap Eats and co-hosted It’s Your Call on the issue of homelessness in Southern California. Mr. Saltsman has also written articles for various publications, including the Daily Journal, the Los Angeles Business Journal and Indian Country Today, and is a frequent speaker at legal conferences and seminars.
