This includes cases of wrongful death, whistleblower protection, truck accidents, traumatic brain injuries, qui tam claims, mass disaster litigation, helicopter accidents, complex and multidistrict litigation, bus accidents and aviation accidents.

    In 2006, Mr. Appleby graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science before attending Loyola Law School to earn his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he was the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review’s senior technical editor and completed mediation training from the school’s Center for Conflict Resolution.

    The National Law Journal included him in the finalists of Consumer Protection’s Elite Trial Lawyers of 2018. For his high ethical standards and long list of successful results, he holds the highest peer rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Appleby is admitted to practice in the state of California and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

    Mr. Appleby is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, The State Bar of California and the American Association for Justice. His experience with felony preliminary hearings at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and the Hobbs District Attorney Clinic helped focus his advocacy skills. As he performed legal writing and research for Superior Court Judges, he developed the skills needed to eventually represent his own clients and publish a comment on a United States Supreme Court case.
