Attorney Profile

As a partner at Taylor & Ring, David M. Ring is dedicated to representing clients in Los Angeles and throughout Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura and San Diego counties, California. He focuses his practice on handling civil litigation cases that involve the following matters: premises and product liability; child sexual abuse and assault; serious motor vehicle, motorcycle and construction site accidents; adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse; personal injury; wrongful death; and employment actions such as harassment, wrongful termination and discrimination.

In 1987, Mr. Ring graduated cum laude and with an undergraduate degree from The University of Southern California. He then earned a law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1990. While in law school, he was invited to join the Order of the Coif.

Suffering negligence or outright illegal activity can be physically and emotionally damaging. Knowing how hard the road to recovery can be, Mr. Ring staunchly advocates for his clients. In a sexual abuse case involving a teacher who victimized two women when they were children, Mr. Ring obtained a $14 million settlement, the largest per-victim settlement by a school district in the U.S. He also secured an $18.6 million jury verdict when a negligent driver injured a motorcyclist.

For his achievements, Mr. Ring has earned the highest rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell; he has been named in The Best Lawyers in America**; Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles nominated Mr. Ring as Trial Lawyer of the Year several times; and he holds an Avvo “Superb” rating.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Ring is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, and he is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California and the American Association for Justice.
