Founder of The Davis Law Firm, Jason A. Davis represents companies and individuals in legal matters related to products liability, civil litigation, business law and criminal defense. During the first decade of his career, Mr. Davis worked in the firearms industry, gaining experience with manufacturing and practical business issues. Since then, he has spent nearly two decades counseling firearm manufacturers, sporting goods retailers, trade association and firearm collectors and dealers on issues of regulatory compliance matters related to weapons in California.  

Mr. Davis' current and previous memberships include the Fifty Caliber Institute, the National Rifle Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and The State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California and the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

In 1999, Mr. Davis earned a dual degree in history and economics, graduating cum laude from the University of California, Riverside. During his undergraduate schooling, his writings were accepted for publication by the Riverside Cornerstone Journal of the University of California. He then went on to Loyola Law School where he obtained a Juris Doctor in 2002 and was the Corporate and Business Law Association’s treasurer.

He has a Clients’ Choice award from Avvo for Civil Rights from 2017, and a “Superb” rating as a top attorney in civil rights. A prolific writer, he has published and lectured on topics related to firearms law and technology.
