In 1997, Mr. McClaugherty was elected to the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel’s Board of Directors, and he is a current member of the organization. He is a former member of the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the State Bar of California’s Litigation Section. An appointed settlement officer, mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court, he is also a member of the National Board of Trial Advocates.
To give back to his community, Mr. McClaugherty spent time as the Lutheran High School’s general counsel.
