Dylan D. Grimes

The founder and managing partner of Grime Law LLP, Dylan D. Grimes skillfully represents his clients in Los Angeles, California, in a variety of different matters. Mr. Grimes divides his legal practice between the areas of entertainment and sports law, plaintiffs' civil litigation issues and consumers' construction litigation matters.

Mr. Grimes graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and political science from The University of Vermont in 1999. He subsequently attended the Vermont Law School and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2004. Following his graduation from law school, Mr. Grimes was subsequently licensed to practice law in both the states of California and Hawaii, and is admitted to practice before all of the state courts in both states.

During his more than 15 years of total legal experience, Mr. Grimes has established himself as a leading attorney and has earned the recognition of his peers in the legal community and his clients. He has helped many clients with complex contracts, including with negotiations, drafting, enforcement and litigation. Mr. Grimes has helped many clients resolve disputes through mediation and negotiation in a manner that costs far less than litigation and helps them save time. He is also an effective trial attorney and is prepared to fight for his clients' interests through litigation when necessary.

Mr. Grimes is an active member of several professional legal organizations, including the Hawaii State Bar Association and The State Bar of California. He has also published and had an article appear in the California Real Property Journal in 2016 discussing the legal issues surrounding deck construction following the deck collapse that happened in Berkeley in 2015.
