He received his license to practice that same year from The State Bar of California, and he is also admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in California, the Supreme Court of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, as well as before the Federal Circuit for Copyright and Trademark Disputes.

Highly active in his legal community, Mr. Schrieffer is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and he currently sits on the professional liability and insurance bad faith committees for the Council on Litigation Management. He is also involved with several other local, state and national bar associations, and he lectures extensively across the country and around the world on a variety of legal topics.
