Todd M. Friedman is the founding partner of the Law Office of Todd M. Friedman, PC, with offices in Beverly Hills and Costa Mesa, California. Representing clients throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties, he focuses his practice primarily on employment law matters, assisting employees who have been harmed in cases involving wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Mr. Friedman also represents consumers in both individual lawsuits and class action litigation, who are seeking to protect their rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and similar federal and state statutes.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998, Mr. Friedman then pursued his legal education at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2001. He was a partner at a Los Angeles consumer rights law firm before founding his current firm in 2009. Admitted to practice in California, Illinois and Pennsylvania, Mr. Friedman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California as well as the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
Mr. Friedman is frequently asked to speak before groups of fellow attorneys, including the National Association of Consumer Advocates, on topics relating to his practice areas. The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals invited him in 2014 to give his perspective as a consumer plaintiff's attorney.
