Michael F. Baltaxe

Attorney Michael F. Baltaxe is a partner and experienced trial lawyer at the law firm of Sottile Baltaxe, serving clients in Los Angeles, Ventura, the San Fernando Valley and all of Southern California. He has been licensed to practice law in the state for 33 years, and since 1997, he has dedicated his practice to protecting employee rights in the workplace and standing up against injustices such as sexual harassment, race and gender discrimination, wage and hour violations, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Mr. Baltaxe has tried dozens of cases in his career, representing clients in jury trials and arbitrations. He also handles multiple-plaintiff cases and class actions. In addition, he lectures to others in the field on employment trial practice. His success, personal character and reputation have led to a membership with the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only professional association reserved for the elite in the field.

For his undergraduate degree, Mr. Baltaxe attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and he remains an avid fan of UCLA sporting events. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, and he is a member of The State Bar of California, the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

In his free time, Mr. Baltaxe enjoys playing table tennis, which he used to play at the national competition level. He has been a state "Doubles Champion" many times.
