Nikka Maleki

As the Managing Partner of Sparrow Law Group LLP, Nikka Maleki is a California employment attorney dedicated to protecting the rights of employees in workplace disputes throughout the state. Based in Beverly Hills, she represents individuals all over California in matters involving sexual harassment, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation, disability discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and other complex employment law claims.

Ms. Maleki understands that workplace disputes are deeply personal. Whether a client has been unlawfully terminated, subjected to harassment, retaliated against for reporting misconduct, or discriminated against because of a protected characteristic, she is committed to providing strategic, compassionate, and results-driven representation. Her practice encompasses all aspects of California employment law, including claims involving sexual harassment, hostile work environments, disability discrimination and failure to accommodate, pregnancy disability leave, family and medical leave violations under the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, meal and rest break violations, and other violations of the California Labor Code and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).

Before co-founding Sparrow Law Group, Ms. Maleki represented Fortune 500 companies at one of the nation's leading international employment law firms, defending employers in high-stakes employment litigation. That experience provides her with a unique understanding of how employers investigate claims, evaluate risk, and develop litigation strategy. Today, she uses that insider perspective exclusively to advocate for employees, anticipating defense strategies and building compelling cases designed to maximize her clients' recovery.

Known for her meticulous preparation, practical guidance, and unwavering commitment to her clients, Ms. Maleki approaches every case with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome—whether through strategic negotiation, mediation, or aggressive litigation. She represents employees at every stage of their careers, from hourly workers and professionals to executives, against employers of all sizes, including startups, privately held companies, public entities, and Fortune 500 corporations.

Ms. Maleki earned her bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was awarded a full merit-based Dean's Scholarship to attend Southwestern Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of California.
