Lena Melkonian

Lena Melkonian is the founder and principal attorney of Lena Law, APC, in Burbank and Pasadena, California, serving clients across California. Boasting 30 years of experience at a litigation law firm and over a decade as an attorney, her legal work has focused on personal injury cases. Approaching each case with a dedication to providing undying support, personalized and compassionate representation, she strives to obtain the rightful compensation for injured victims and holds negligent parties accountable.

Ms. Melkonian began her legal career as a receptionist for a law firm at 18 years old. She then worked as a legal secretary while taking paralegal courses at Mission College, and for three decades, she worked at a law firm in Century City then Beverly Hills, collecting experience and insight.  During her career, she worked in the same firm as a bookkeeper, office manager and eventually a litigation paralegal. This extensive background provides her with a deep understanding of pretrial and post-trial processes.

Not giving up on her passion for law, Ms. Melkonian completed her legal education by attending evening classes at Glendale University College of Law while also working full-time. She graduated at the top of her class and received her Juris Doctor with high honors in 2014. That same year, she was admitted to The State Bar of California. In 2015, she founded her own practice, with the goal of protecting victims’ rights and securing their futures through rightful settlements.

Fluent in Armenian and English, Ms. Melkonian ensures nothing acts as a barrier between a client and their pursuit of justice. She is surrounded by a devoted team and her senior paralegal is fluent in Spanish.  Ensuring all her clients receive personal care and attention, she provides steadfast, empathetic support. She takes time to listen to her client's stories, speaks with clients personally and understands each unique circumstance, meticulously building strong legal strategies.
