Elaine D. Ryzak Fraser

As an attorney at Harris & Fraser, Elaine D. Ryzak Fraser is committed to representing clients in San Francisco, Burlingame and San Mateo County, California. She focuses her practice on handling family law cases that involve the following matters: divorce/dissolution, child custody, child support, spousal support/alimony, property/asset division, and prenuptial agreements. Ms. Fraser also offers her role as a mediator, mediation consulting attorney and Collaborative Practice--Collaborative Divorce practitioner.

In 1974, Ms. Fraser earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Long Beach. She later chose to pursue a career in law, receiving a Juris Doctor in 1984 from the University of San Francisco School of Law.  

Helping families through complex issues such as divorce and child custody requires a deep knowledge of the law as well as a sense of compassion. Treating clients with respect, Ms. Fraser works toward achieving the best possible outcome for a case. Whether she is guiding them through a Collaborative Divorce, mediation or litigating on their behalf in the courtroom, she always has their interests in mind. Active in the legal community, Ms. Fraser is a member of the Collaborative Practice California, The State Bar of California's Family Law Section, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Collaborative Practice of San Mateo County  where she serves on the Executive Committee. In addition to her work with clients, Ms. Fraser serves in a variety of family law roles with the Superior Court of San Mateo County on a pro bono basis.
