Joseph A. Langlois

As the founder of Langlois Family Law, APC, based in Calabasas, California, Joseph A. Langlois offers legal representation in a broad range of family law matters. With decades of experience, he has built a practice dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex domestic relations issues with strategic guidance and personalized attention.

Mr. Langlois represents clients in matters involving divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, fathers’ rights, same-sex family law and military divorce. Throughout his career, he has focused on advocating for clients during emotionally challenging legal disputes while working to achieve practical and effective resolutions tailored to their needs.

Recognized for his knowledge and experience in the field, Mr. Langlois became a Certified Family Law Specialist through The State Bar of California in 2005. His practice emphasizes clear communication and individualized legal strategies designed to protect the rights and interests of his clients. Whether handling high-conflict custody disputes, complex divorce proceedings or support-related matters, he works closely with clients to help them understand their legal options and pursue favorable outcomes.

Mr. Langlois earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, magna cum laude, from California State University, Northridge, in 1985. He later obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1988. In the same year, he was admitted to practice law in California and before the U.S. federal courts.

Actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Langlois is a member of The State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He also serves as an executive committee member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
