Licensed to practice in California as well as various federal courts, Mr. Waller has been engaging in private practice since 1981. Over the course of his career, he has spoken to numerous organizations and authored family law publications. In addition, he has served as a legal commentator on Los Angeles-based television stations and was featured on the Dr. Phil Show.

In addition to his practice, he participates in numerous volunteer organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America and Pacific Lodge Youth Services.
