Paul F. Caputo

Attorney Paul F. Caputo is the founding partner of Caputo & Van Der Walde LLP in Campbell, California. Mr. Caputo has over 30 years of experience practicing personal injury law and serving injured clients in Santa Clara County and throughout the Bay Area.

An experienced trial attorney, Mr. Caputo handles all types of personal injury cases, including those involving assault, bicycle accidents, bus accidents, carbon monoxide poisoning, car accidents, construction accidents, dog bites, food poisoning, industrial accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, product liability, truck accidents and wrongful death. Over his career he has successfully obtained significant recoveries in settlements and verdicts for his clients.

The recipient of many honors and awards for his accomplishments, Mr. Caputo is AV Preeminent* peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell. The Consumer Attorneys of California named him the “California Trial Lawyer of the Year” and both the California State Assembly and the United States House of Representatives presented him with a resolution of commendation.

In addition to running his law practice, Mr. Caputo serves as a guest speaker for various legal organizations and is a torts professor at Lincoln Law School. He is the author of several articles for local media outlets and a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Fellows.

Mr. Caputo grew up in San Jose, California, and received a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. He earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and obtained his license to practice law in 1989. He is qualified to appear before all California state courts.
