The managing counsel of Loftin Bedell, P.C., L. Sue Loftin is a highly rated and honored attorney serving clients throughout San Diego, California, as well as across Southern California and other parts of the state. Ms. Loftin's practice is primarily focused in the area of real estate law, both transaction and litigation including regulatory compliance. She represents real estate owners and real estate developers in a variety of cases. Ms. Loftin's experience as an attorney spans 40 years. She graduated with her Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and has been licensed to practice in California as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in 1972 in history and philosophy at Oklahoma City University.
Over her lengthy career, Ms. Loftin has successfully represented hundreds of clients. Many of her cases have been reported decisions that have helped to shape California law. Ms. Loftin brings a wealth of experience and legal knowledge to her practice and has earned numerous awards for her work. In 2016, Ms. Loftin was named as the business person of the year by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, and she has received numerous other honors.

- As a founding member of Bravo San Diego, Inc., the opportunity to create and participate in the presentation of various performing arts in one evening allowed the introduction to those performing arts companies to the San Diego Audiences in a venue that provided refreshments and mingling with other persons who wanted to learn more about the San Diego performing Arts. Â For the Companies, it allowed them to reach out to new patrons. Â In 1998, I joined a few other persons to setup and organize this event and was active on the Board through 2005.

We represented Sequoia Park Associates at the county administrative hearings, trial court and appeals court. Â The trial court found for the Defendant, the appeals court overturned the trial court decision. The issues related to the right a Mobile Home Park Owner to subdivide the mobile home park and offer the individual spaces for sale to the residents who occupied those spaces., 2009
